I'm 20 something years old. I'm from Ireland, which is quite delightful. I'm wildly in love with my family, my cat, my bed, my computer and a red star cushion filled with beans called Stalin. I have no job, and thus no human friends, but I'm working on that.

Keeping any disorder aside for a second (this journal is pretty much devoted to those parts of my life, though). I have too many interests and likes/loves to list. Despite the fact that things manage to be quite screwy or otherwise hectic, I make an effort to love life and don't plan on letting these things kick my arse fully. I live for books. I adore reading. Give me anything and I'll read it. I love dystopian fictions, classic literature, political literature, history, philosophy and memoirs. I also love mythology - I am deeply frustrated with modernity in all its forms and how contemporary existance affects the natural state of things. Not just environment but the natural state of the mind. Myth, fable, and also history, provide an escape from the 'rat race' lifestyle, and also seeks to rejuvenate a primal oneness with viewer and nature, and viewer and mind.

I'm a loner. I'm very quiet and reserved. If I look cold it's because I am, in every sense of the word.
I'm a geeky booktard and loving it.
I get preoccupied with my interests very easy. I'm extremely whimsical. I currently have a fetish for bentō boxes.
If anyone touches my carefully ordered groceries on the belt (fridge, cupboard, freezer), I am liable to hurt them.
I'm a stereotypical ISTJ.

I love:

My books.
My music - Industrial, Folk, Folk Metal, Art Rock, Classical, Neo Classical, Experimental and everything in between along with some other 'unclassifiable' ear-candy.
Nature and the country (there's plenty of that here), but I also love that feeling of anonymity provided by big cities.
Photography, and on occaisions drawing and painting.
Hot baths and sleeping under my electric blanket.
Baking.
Travel and anthropology. I'm a culture freak.
The bizzare and unconventional.
Old, vintage things.
Things and beings other people find ugly.

I loathe:

Cliques, fads and trends.
Most stereotyped tween girls and their related behaviours. Oh, and women who act like them.
Materialism and superficiality.
Leachers and parasites.
Getting out of bed in the morning.
Bad manners.
Attention seekers.
More than often, modern life and humanity as a collective.

Anyhow, on to the supposed defectiveness.

Not long ago, I make an effort to eat more like a normal person, with the help of too many people wasting their time. Scratch that. Normal people tend to be unhappy, but then again so am I. I still eat like an athlete... With brain damage? I'm a dedicated recovery drop-out. I tried being one of those normal people Autumn of last year and weighed my perscribed weight. I'm no longer in active recovery, but I am pro-recovery and applaud anyone with the courage and strengh to engage in it. At the minute I'm just another individual trying to get by. Diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa type I four years ago and 'recovered' as far as weight goes thrice. Going on another year with Anorexia Nervosa subtype II.

As I've mentioned - I am not currently in recovery, although I am still attending outpatients and doing my best to keep my head above water, be it on my own volition or kicking and screaming by pushy clinicians. However, some may still find my rambles triggering. So there's your disclaimer.

I have other ~~mental health problems~~ quirks, some are related to my eating disorder, others aren't. Many of them may be adressed or talked about in my journal. Things have a tendency of intertwining sometimes. *emo tears*

Despite being 'the way I am'. I'm not pro-ana/pro-mia. Not only because it's pretty pathetic, but because most people who subscribe to this glorious 'lifestyle' usually piss me off. I am not ~AnAz~. Nope, I don't give a donkey's fart about thinspo. Though I do provide one great tip - Google Weight Watchers or Is there enough cyanide in 10,000 apple pips to kill a human being?

Wannarexia and Fauxlimia do however, give me the odd hearty lol. So do stick around, just not within the vicinity of my own journal. thx gaiz.
